PART I: JOB SUMMARY (primary job objectives)
* Analyze, design, develop and implement banking (or related) applications in a client server environment.
* Enhancement of existing banking (or related) applications.
* Provider of 1st level system and applications support.
* Project Management
PART II: MAIN JOB DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Analyze enhancement requests from application users and provide logical
solution options and estimates.
· Prepare specifications and user requirements.
· Encode, test, debug and document (new and existing) programs and
interfaces.
· Prepare concise and accurate documentation for all enhancements and
change requests implemented.
· Develop and customize workflow using ClearQuest based on user
requirement.
· Liaise with relevant third-party vendors in applications where external
application support arrangements are in place.
· Assists System Analyst with application or technical problems (1st line support).
· Provide regular feedback/status on development and projects to Line
Manager.
· Proactively highlight training requirements and identify suitable
courses to enhance effective job performance.
PART III: PRE-REQUISITES

Ø Min Education Qualifications :
* Degree (Computer Science, Information Technology)
Ø Relevant Experience Required:

qualifications, relevant experience, skills set)
* Min 3 years of IT system support and development experience (advances technical knowledge in all areas of application programming & system design).
* Min 3 years in banking
Ø Other Skills Required :
(e.g.
product knowledge, language ability, PC skills, personal attributes, etc)
* Strong system development background.
* Knowledge of (one or more of the below tools /languages):
* PowerBuilder
* Business Objects
* Visual Basic / .NET
* ETL tool / data warehousing tools
* ClearQuest
* Knowledge of (one or more of the below systems):
* Midas R4
* Sybase and MSSQL stored procedure programming
* SharePoint
* Willing to become business analyst (get in-depth knowledge about one of the end-user groups regional IS&D is supporting).
