We are a leading Japanese
manufacturing company in a bonded area in Cikarang, Bekasi and are seeking a
human resources professional to fulfill the position of Human Resources and
General Affair Manager.
Reporting jointly to the President
Director and the Vice President, you will be responsible for Human Resources
function of the company. Working in partnership with country management, you
will provide advice on Human Resources practice relating to employment
legislation, recruitment, career development, compensation and the
implementation of new corporate policies and
procedures.
You will
be instrumental in the management, motivation and retention initiatives for 156
employees whilst adhering to corporate best practice. You will have a proven
track record as a Human Resources Manager preferably within a manufacturing
organisation.
You
should have knowledge of Indonesian employment regulation. A strong hands-on
approach, commitment to delivery of service and the desire to work as a business
partner is essential to this role. You should be fluent in two or more
languages, including excellent verbal and written English
skills.
Responsibilities include but are
not limited to:
* Ensuring
corporate policies, procedures and practices are effectively implemented
* Ensuring
conformance and compliance with all government regulatory and legal requirements
* Preparation, recommendation and
maintenance of records and procedures for reporting personnel data in support of
company guidelines
* Provision of functional and
administrative guidance to business and personnel concerning HR policies,
procedures and practices
* Effective development of HR team
and members to include effective coaching, career development and succession
planning
* Development and management of HR
goals, strategies, plans, programs, budgets and
personnel
* Supervision of HR/support staff as
necessary

Specification:
Essential:
· Good computer literacy with an
understanding of IT tools available
· Working knowledge of Microsoft
Office
· Ability to deal with all customers
and clients at all levels both internal and
external.
· Good written and verbal
communication skills
· Pragmatic, numerate and a strong
desire to accomplish goals.
· Adept at basic problem solving but
knowing when to ask.
· Good organisational and time
management skills
· Strong focus on attention to
detail, accuracy and follow up.
· Ability to work quickly and
efficiently
· Ability to take instruction and
deal with requests from all levels of management.
· Able to work on own initiative and
as part of a team
