Our client is a growing multinational petrochemical company located
at Merak, looking for the dynamic and talented person to fill the
vacant position as IT Engineer (Network System), with the following
details;
URGENTLY REQUIRED
Report to: IT Manager
Description: Planning, analysis, design, development, testing,
quality assurance, configuration, installation, operation,
implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of
networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice,
data, and/or v
Task: • diagnosing and resolving hardware/software interface and
interoperability problems;
• planning and scheduling the installation of new or modified
hardware/software;
• managing the network system installation and integration of
system patches, updates, and enhancements;
• ensuring network systems functionality, integrity, and
efficiency;
• managing and controlling assets;
• analyzing and defining network requirements;
• defining and maintaining physical and virtual network
architecture and infrastructure;
• configuring and optimizing network servers, hubs, routers,
and switches;
• analyzing network workload;
• managing accounts, network rights, and access to systems
and equipment;
• administering network user passwords;
• monitoring the performance, capacity, availability,
serviceability, and recoverability of installed systems;
• maintaining systems configuration;
• making adjustments to ensure proper load balancing;
• developing backup and recovery procedures;
• implementing security procedures and tools;
• ensuring the rigorous application of information
security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices;
• report to Infrastructure Area Coordinator and Head of IT
Department (IT Manager).
Skills Have skill set to control on :
• IT Infrastructure Hardware or Software as primary authority
on :
- Computer : server, backup.
- Software : Windows server, Technical software (AutoCAD).
- LAN (Local Area Network) : hub, network config, intranet,
cabling.
- WAN (wide area network) : router, modem, broadband,
bandwidth mgmt, internet.
- WLAN (wireless local area network) : wi-fi.
- Telephone / video system, PABX, tele/video-conference, IP
Telephony.
• IT Infrastructure Hardware and Software as secondary
authority on :
- Computer : PC, printer, NIC.
- IT Security : Firewall, Anti-virus.
- Software : IIS, Apache, VMS, Technical software (PI, LIMS,
Hysis, Chempro).
• IT Infrastructure Service Delivery and Project
Implementation, expecially on Network.
Education (minimum): D3
Training: Server Operating System as used in AMI
Experience: 2 years in Network section/department/unit function
Language:
Certification: Preffered if has Microsoft MCSE, or Cisco CCNA, or
other certification.
