Due the development and especially acquiring coal mining (CCOW) in Indonesia, We are now seeking outstanding talent as the following position:
Environment Coordinator
Main Role
To coordinate the understanding and implementation of the environment policies and programs throughout the company in order to contribute to the achievement of the environmental and the company goals and to support a safe & efficient operation within the company.
Role of Accountabilities
- Identifying environmental risk and assist in the development and implementation of management plans to mitigate the risk
- Implement inspection programs that measure the site's compliance with environmental standards
- Meet all environmental monitoring and reporting requirements
- Monitoring compliance with environmental legislation and assist the site in managing compliance
- Communication of environmental aspects and impacts to the organization
Role Cognitive
Able to exercise judgments requiring "Assertive" processing (such as require to be able to organize information and pulls it together in the form of direct action relevant to the immediate situation) for time-span of 3 months down the road.
Knowledge & Skill
· 5 years++ (with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the environment field in mining industry)
· Environment & Safety Knowledge
· Certified AMDAL & ISO 14001
· Understand HSE Standard (Government, OSHAHS 18000,OSHA, ISO 14001)
· Technical Knowledge on hydrocarbon, rehabilitation & waste Management and Environment Management System including ISO 14001 is Advantage
· Able to manage tasks and prioritize time to support the company
· High motivation to fulfilling requests to meet timelines supporting the work of others
· Able to take initiative and to follow through on projects and tasks

Specific Required
1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering from a reputable university.
2. Experience minimum 5 years handling the environment in mining industry
3. Willing to be located in Palembang, South Sumatera.
4. Willing to work extended hours due to project requirements.
5. Excellent English, both written and verbal
6. Computer literate (Microsoft Office programs)
